Nachos are a Mexican regional dish from northern Mexico that consists of heated tortilla chips or totopos covered with melted cheese, often served as a snack or appetizer. More elaborate versions of the dish include other ingredients and may be substantial enough to serve as a main dish. Wikipedia

Here is one of our favorite Nacho recipes..
Brisket Nachos! 😋
Ingredients
Tortilla Chips
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 can Refried Beans
1/4 cup chopped onion
Nacho jalapeño slices
Tomato (I used a few grape tomatoes chopped in halves)
Sour Cream
Salsa


Instructions
Spread tortilla chips on a cookie sheet
Heat the Refried beans with a little water in them (to make them spreadable) in the microwave or on the stove
Spread beans all over the chips
Sprinkle on onions, lots of cheese then top with meat, jalapeños & tomatoes
Bake for about 10-15 minutes in 350° oven or until cheese melts.
