🍅 Eat Low & Local – what’s your diet’s carbon footprint?

Did you know that 1/4 of global greenhouse gas emissions come from our food system? What you eat definitely has an impact, and dietary changes can be one of the quickest ways to reduce your household emissions.

The biggest impact you can have is by
1) eating more plant-based food,
2) avoiding factory-farmed, pasture-raised meat, and
3) reducing your food waste.

To help you make these changes, the Norwich Energy Committee is partnering with four local farms — Crossroad, Honey Fields, Hogwash, and Sweetland. They offer a range of options, from weekly shares to a farm stand account to meal kits. Spring is the best time to sign up! Go to
